I think that’s the way it was supposed to be. Those who are chosen and set apart for God’s purpose do hear His voice and obey. The others just run helter skelter toward their doom.
I go to bed at 10 or so now instead of 1. The children go to bed (hopefully) at around 8, then we take care of any business we have online then head for bed. Some days we stay up later, depends on the day.
The fear of God has gone, hasn’t it? Mostly so. And yet, who sounds the alarm as they did in Joel’s time, Joel 2:1?
Maybe, we can hear the alarm in our own hearts, and follow it. Just be sure that alarm lead us to God.
