I loved watching Andy’s shows with my children. The newer ones weren’t as nice and moral as the old ones, but a strange feeling came over me as I heard this news. We lost something…something we will never get back.
“Andy was a person of incredibly strong Christian faith and was prepared for the day he would be called Home to his Lord,” Griffith’s wife, Cindi, said in a statement. “He is the love of my life, my constant companion, my partner, and my best friend. I cannot imagine life without Andy, but I take comfort and strength in God’s Grace and in the knowledge that Andy is at peace and with God.”
According to CNN, the actor has already been buried on the grounds of his North Carolina farm. A funeral spokesperson told CNN that Griffith was laid to rest around 11:30 a.m. ET at the request of his family, and noted that “it had been planned for some time.”…
