“The devil sees nothing more abominable than a truly humble Christian, for [that Christian] is just the opposite of [the devil's] own image.”
"If the professed convert distinctly and deliberately declares that he knows the Lord's will but does not mean to attend to it, you are not to pamper his presumption, but it is your duty to assure him that he is not saved. Do not suppose that the Gospel is magnified or God glorified by going to the worldlings and telling them that they may be saved at this moment by simply accepting Christ as their Savior, while they are wedded to their idols, and their hearts are still in love with sin. If I do so I tell them a lie, pervert the Gospel , insult Christ, and turn the grace of God into lasciviousness."
The church is designed to be in the world like a boat is designed to be in the water. However, the boat is in trouble when the water gets into it as much as the church is in trouble when the world gets into it. Well, like water in a boat, the world has been seeping into the visible church for quite awhile now, and it’s sinking.

Quite a sobering picture and so very true what you wrote.
If a picture paints a thousand words, what can we say of this?
Truly, we have no need of nothing.
Amazingly, God keeps giving us things and supplies our needs as He pleases. He has chosen to bless us and watch over us, and in His sovereignty He has chosen to keep that person where he/she is. It’s His will and we also must realize that as well.
It tells us in Proverbs 22:2 that the rich and the poor have this in common, the Lord is the maker of them all.
Our future is in God’s hand’s. And whether we are rich or poor, He is still God.
…and He’ll receive glory either way.
Something I absolutely count on!!!! Woo!
