That’s the question many evangelicals are grappling with as the November election draws near. While pondering the ramifications of a Mormon in the White House, some prominent Southern Baptist theologians have emphasized that whatever happens on Election Day will not affect the work of the Kingdom of God. “The Kingdom is not riding on whatever happens on election day and the church’s mission isn’t going to change regardless of what happens … on Election Day,” said Dr. R. Albert Mohler, president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, on Tuesday. Should Christians vote?
Elections are always treated as a two horse race. People forget there are other options.
There are Christian candidates out there, but will we ever hear of them? Never.
If you can vote for a mormon, why not a muslim, sikh. Do you think they will bring their religion into their politics? I can’t see how they won’t.
I don’t doubt many American Christians will vote for Romney. But that does not mean he will win.
Let the two horse race continue…

I don’t think Christians have any business voting personally. The Bible says we are pilgrims just passing through. Pilgrims passing through don’t vote anymore than you guys would be able to vote while you visited the States. It would be silly to even think so. Yet, Christians try and change the world through worldly systems. When will ever learn? Should a Christian vote for Hitler to get Hussein out of office? What would be the lesser evil?

At the last election here in the UK, I didn’t vote. I can’t think of where it says in scripture concerning voting. But, morally speaking, political groups that support homosexuality and abortion will not get my vote.
And since, those groups support those things, what is there to vote for?
There is a lot more I could say on this subject, but, maybe later.
God bless.
