Just a comment regarding something I was thinking over tonight.
Environmentalism does its utmost to protect any and all species of animals, insects, fish and birds from man’s so called destructive ways, right? Even the weakest of creatures get protection from the many bleeding heart out there.
Now, evolution says stuff such as survival of the fittest, natural selection and so forth.
Evolution says the weak must die off in order for the strong to reach forth into the

future to propagate the species. The strong make the species stronger whilst the weak make the species weaker.
Environmentalism, as far as I see, is coming in direct opposition with this. They protect the weak, help the weaker of the many species mate and so forth. How can an environmentalist be an evolutionist? They contradict each other.
Now in society, we see people reaching out to the poor and disabled, helping, loving and feeding them who are less fortunate than we are. Evolution says, let them die off. They are getting in the way of progress. Evolution says to let those who are sick, feeble, disabled and poor find their own way, and if they can’t keep up with the train, then they will do all of us a favour and fall by the way side.
Why is it then that society as a whole can’t help but give money to causes, reach out to the poor, save abused children, organize races to fight back the many cancers that plague us? Why are we not bearing the fingerprints of evolution? Instead it seems we are reflecting the fingerprint of a loving and compassionate God.
Just some thoughts…
